Remember all the old side-scrollers you loved on the Nintendo? Like Super Mario Bros., Castlevania, and Metroid? So fun, right!? Well, what if you could go back to that time, but on your PlayStation, with HD graphics, and starring a Mexican Luchadore fighting off monsters and demons? Well, that’s what you get in Drinkbox Studios’ Guacamelee!, a loving tribute to 2D gaming of the past, which is available now on the PlayStation Network.

In Guacamelee!, you are Juan Aguacate, a down-on-his-luck Mexican wrestler who sets out to save the world when El Presidente’s daughter is kidnapped by an evil Charro Skeleton. The story takes place in and around a small village in Mexico as well as the alternate dimensions “The World of the Living” and “The World of the Dead” on his quest to rescue the girl he loves. To aid you on your quest, Juan is joined by a lovely female wrestler named Tostada with a set of skills all her own. Fight flame-headed banditos and human-jaguar hybrids all while posing and flipping and looking super cool.

You’re probably pretty excited to play this game now, eh? We thought so. That is why we’re offering the chance to win exclusive codes to download the PS3 and Vita versions of Guacamelee!. All you have to do for this one-two punch is enter here, then go hit up our Twitter, Facebook, and Google+ accounts to get yourself extra entries. Think of us as your game-winning tag team partner.
