You know by now that we here at Nerdist love us some Game of Thrones. I mean, who doesn’t because what’s not to like, right? There’s dragons and harrowing stories of human triumph and failure set against the backdrop of a fantastical, intricate, batshit crazy sort of world. But because of all of that, sometimes it’s hard to keep track of all the players. That’s where Wil Wheaton comes in and does the best mash-up we’d never thought of: a Brady Bunch-styled parody video that lays it all out there. Because nothing makes bloody, epic gore more delightful than a campy 70s theme song.

(And yes, just because we have to say it, because Internet and the like, the video and this post will contain season 5 and earlier spoilers. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!)

There are children singing about Theon Greyjoy’s penis, Ned Stark and his dead head, and of course the many, many sexual exploits of folks like Tyrion Lannister, Stannis and Melisandre, Robb Stark and Talisa, and of course those tres incest-y Lannisters. It’s all so sing-song-y and hilarious you’ll forget (once you learn all the words) that you’re singing along to a tune about extreme fantastical violence and murder. It’s great! So thank you, Syfy and The Wil Wheaton Project, for doing the lord’s work and introducing the cast in a way that’ll finally help so many of those GoT fans that are easily confused by its gargantuan cast of characters.
