Why DESTINY 2.0 Has Saved the Game

Remember the robust Destiny plot that was supposedly comparable to Star Wars? Remember wanting to bitch slap the Cryptarch for robbing you when presenting him with Legendary Engrams? What about shooting into a dark cave for hours on end for epic loot? The release of Destiny was one of the weirder launches that we’ve experienced in video games for some time, but with the release of the game’s first expansion, The Taken King, it looks like Bungie is finally starting to smooth things out on their quest to make a long-lasting and cohesive MMO-like experience.

This week on Nerdist Play, we discuss the major changes that Destiny 2.0 has brought into the mix to make the game more fair, rewarding and accessible. Has the Destiny train run its course in your opinion, or did Bungie deliver the sufficient amount of changes to get you back into the game? Hop on your Sparrow and turbo boost your thoughts into the comments below.

Nerdist Gaming is growing and you can find us all over the internet these days! If you’d like to continue the conversation, you can check us out every week on our Twitch channel or every day on our Facebook page! Also, if you’d like to chat about video games with me directly, I’m only one tweet away @Malik4Play.
