When FROZEN Meets GAME OF THRONES

Summer’s taken over the realms and we’re all still feeling the sting of not having a new episode of Game of Thrones each week. To help curb the bitter taste of a Winter-less summer, here’s a mash up of Disney’s Frozen and Game of Thrones‘ Season 4 trailer:

Thanks to the efforts of the folks at Cut Print Film, I’m never going to look at Frozen the same way again… or Game of Thrones, for that matter. It’s absolutely brilliant how they matched up scenes from the Disney movie with the audio from Game of Thrones.

The character counterparts for Frozen and Game of Thrones are pretty clever as well. I can totally imagine Hans as the Joffrey of Frozen, only, you know, less murder-y, crazy, and a bit more sing-songy. Plus Olaf as Tyrion, come on! You know that made you laugh. It’s also safe to say that this is probably the only time Game of Thrones will be appropriate for children.

Did this mash-up trailer change your perception of Frozen and/or Game of Thrones? Let us know in the comments below.

it’s three yrs after their parents die not a decade I watched frozen 3 times in a row the other day bc of my daughter and Anna would remember Olaf bc the troll left the fun which means he left the memory of the things they did in snow she just won’t remember he sister made the snow

  2. DiHard11 says:

I like Frozen. I felt there was too many songs that didn’t add to the plot or character development. But overall I appreciated what It tried to do.

I really like this mash up! It works for me on so many levels.

  3. Kristina says:

Excellently cut! Loved the entire atmosphere it gave to Frozen. IT makes me want to see a mature rated CGI film

  4. It’s odd that there’s going to be an actual crossover between Once Upon a Time and Frozen. I find it odd that a Live Action televison series is crossing over with an animated flim but it’s all going to be done in live action anyway so…it’s just odd and awesome!

    • McKenzie B says:

what about all of the other animated character they portray in Once? Ariel, Belle, Mulan, Aurora ect…..

    • Beth says:

It’s not all that odd. Disney owns that network and they can do whatever they want. Frozen is obviously extremely popular so it’s all about money and ratings. If they have Frozen in there, it’s guaranteed ratings. Plus that’s the whole gig with OUAT. Though it’s getting a little overboard with the plots and they don’t seem to know where they are going.

    • Doug says:

They have done Peter Pan, Beuaty and the Beast, Little Mermaid, Cinderella whats so Odd thats what the show does lol

  5. J says:

I can’t imagine anyone who hasn’t seen Frozen by now, but SPOILERS.

    • RawJah says:

haven’t seen it. but i live in europe 😉
the whole “let it go” is quite odd if you are no part of the hype 😉
