How do you exterminate the pesky caped crusader? You fill Gotham with bat-exterminating tanks, of course! Batman: Arkham Knight was the final chapter in the Arkham series of games for Rocksteady, and the studio did their best to send this beloved franchise off with a bang. 2015 was quite frankly one of the best years in video games, so I don’t blame you if it got lost in the shuffle. But if you’re not interested in playing the game a year later, allow our very own Malik Forté to tell you what you missed by not playing Batman: Arkham Knight. For those new to this video series, allow me to give you the courtesy warning: he’s going to spoil everything. Now with that out of the way, feast your eyes on the clip above.
Yeah, Batman sure had a rough Halloween. The Scarecrow and the Arkham Knight definitely made for a powerful evil duo, but of course, the Bats always finds a way to come out on top. Aside from the robust combat and traversal (yes, even the Batmobile) mechanics, the story is fantastic. Having Bruce literally battle his inner demon (aka his foil, the Joker), made for such an intriguing Batman story.
Make sure to check out our full review here. Did you enjoy the game last year? Does this make you want to go back and relive the experience as much as I do? What was your favorite moment of the game? What series do you think Rocksteady will work on next? Let us know in the comments below!
