What Does Ryan Reynolds Want to See in the DEADPOOL Sequel?

The long-anticipated, R-rated, fourth-wall-demolishing Deadpool finally premieres this weekend, but the man behind the spandex himself, Ryan Reynolds, is already hyping up what we might see from the Merc with a Mouth next. In an interview with a German site called Filmstarts, Reynolds claims that his main focus right now is getting an X-Force movie off the ground. For those who don’t know, X-Force began as a successful X-Men spin-off in the early ’90s that featured a more aggressive, hard-edged team who took a proactive approach to protecting mutantkind.

Deadpool has played a part in their adventures since the very beginning, with the original team led by Cable. It included Cannonball, Boom-Boom, Warpath, Shatterstar, Feral, and Domino, as well as some characters who will be appearing in X-Men Apocalypse, like Nightcrawler, Archangel, Wolverine, and Psylocke. Could Fox round up some supporting X-film characters and give them to Deadpool to form his own super-team? Join Jessica Chobot as we discuss how Fox could bring the X-Force to the big screen alongside their pre-existing X-Men universe, on today’s Nerdist News.
