WET HOT AMERICAN SUMMER’S Return Highlights Next Week’s Netflix Releases

As parents are taking their kids to Target to fill out their back-to-school checklists, Netflix is taking viewers in the opposite direction. On July 31st, Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp premieres. The eight episode prequel series to the 2001 cult hit stars, well, everyone. Janeane Garofalo, Paul Rudd, Bradley Cooper, Amy Poehler, Michael Ian Black, Jason Schwartzman, Elizabeth Banks, Molly Shannon, are just a few of the names that you will see.

That’s not all Netflix has in store for next week.  Here is a rundown of what we have to look forward to:

July 25th

The Guest (2014)


Dan Stevens plays the friend of a recently deceased soldier who is taken in by his family. Things are not always as they seem.

Comet (2014)

Marvel’s Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. –  Season 2


Hulk, She-Hulk, Skaar, A-Bomb, and Red Hulk work together to save the planet in the second and final season of the Marvel series.

July 30

Almost Mercy (2015)


Sociopaths and childhood friends Jackson and Emily are about to enter High School. With violence on their minds, how long until a total meltdown? Starring Bill Mosely, Kane Hodder,  and Danielle Guldin.

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic – Season 5
