Listen up, Coop: it’s not long now until we’re back at summer camp, chilling with our favorite best friends forever — a.k.a. the cast of Wet Hot American Summer. The Netflix miniseries iteration of one of the funniest movies about being an idiot teen discovering the wiles of the world is slated for a July 31st premiere, but who can wait that long for anything? Right?

So, naturally, when we saw there were some photos from Wet Hot American Summer: First Day at Camp that we could share with the world, we thought to ourselves, “well dag nabit and golly gee, better get these out for the world to see!” Because let’s be real, when you tell us that pretty much the entire universe of current funny humans is going to be in a thing, curiosity’s gonna get us good.

And while we do get a sneak peek at some of the ol’ regulars in these images, we’re absolutely chomping at the bit to see how Michaela Watkins, John Slattery, Josh Charles, Randall Park, Jayma Mays, Lake Bell, Paul Scheer, Rob Huebel, and Richard Schiff — otherwise known as the new kids in town — fall into this new iteration/prequel situation.

But don’t just take our word for it!
