Cease all motor functions! Westworld‘s second season is just around the corner on HBO. And while the androids are revolting, there’s still an opportunity for fans to satisfy their violent delights in a Westworld of their own. Warner Bros. Interactive has announced Westworld: Delos Park Training Simulation, an upcoming mobile game that will let guests evolve their hosts to the limits of artificial intelligence. Now, what could possibly go wrong with that?
The announcement trailer barely has any footage from the game itself, which features a very simplified style to better fit in with other mobile games. It’s pretty amusing to see the show’s characters translated into this style.
In the game, players will take control of a recently hired Delos employee, who has full access to the Delos Park Training Simulation. The goals for a successful simulation include indulging the guests with their darkest fantasies, as well as creating and collecting new A.I. hosts. Players will also be able to build and control Westworld itself while utilizing a system from the park’s creators. Even Dr. Ford will play a role in the game.
Players will also get some one-on-one time with the artificial hosts, as they boost their intelligence and pave the way for an inevitable robot uprising. One of the official sites promoting the game is DelosCareers.com, which is a cheeky touch we enjoy. Gamers are also encouraged to pre-register at Westworldmobile.com, in return for “exciting incentives” which will be available when the game launches.
Westworld: Delos Park Training Simulation will be released later this year. The second season will begin on Sunday, April 22.
