After several failed attempts at rebranding—surfer bro, boho audiophile, and frat douche all take a specific kind of person that is not Rivers Cuomo—Cuomo turns to good old fashioned IRL deceit. Remember those halcyon days when dating used to be so much more personal, and you had to lie about yourself in person instead of online? Ahhh yes, simpler times.
