While at Comic-Con we had the immense pleasure of checking out Comicave’s 1/4th scale Hulkbuster figure and it is absolutely gorgeous. With exquisite articulation and detail, right down to the scratches on the gauntlets, the figure even has illuminated eyes, repulsors, and an arc reactor. If that was all there was to it, it would be well worth what will likely be a Hulk-sized asking price when the figure is ready for sale.
But that’s not all there is to it — thanks to some miniature mechanization, this Hulkbuster figure might be the coolest action figure we’ve ever seen.
The video above is from i09‘s coverage of San Diego Comic-Con 2015, and shows the incredible mechanized figure transforming to reveal not just an interior, but another figure of Iron Man inside. And not just another Iron Man inside, but one that also lights up and transforms to reveal Tony Stark’s face.
I’m sure Stark would have some witty response here, but all we can think is WOW.
