WBTV and DC to Premiere GOTHAM and THE FLASH pilots, and More at SDCC!

It’s going to be a long wait till fall for Fox to finally premiere the long awaited Batman prequel/Jim Gordon origin story, Gotham. But, according to a new announcement, “for the first time ever at SDCC, WBTV and DCE will present a three-hour special event on Saturday night, July 26, designed specifically for DC Comics fans and featuring some of DC Comics’ greatest characters.”

According to the two companies, “DC Comics fans will enter the dangerous and compelling world of Gotham with a screening of the pilot episode, followed by an appearance by the cast and producers.” In addition, WBTV will also screen the pilot of Arrow spin-off, The Flash, as well as show off some footage from the upcoming third season of the Stephen Amell drama. Oh, and there’s going to be an exclusive footage reveal for NBC’s Constantine, that too.

Basically what we’re saying is, if you’re a DC fan then you need to get your butt to SDCC this year to get a first look at all the company’s small screen offerings.

Many will recall Marvel pulled a similar trick last year by giving fans a first look at the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. pilot, with most of the cast and crew in attendance for the screening. It makes sense DC would pull the same move, except on a much grander scale considering the amount of television the company has on the air this year.

Which of the four offerings are you most looking forward to seeing at San Diego Comic-Con? Let us know in the comments below!
