Watch X-MEN Actors Impersonate Their Older Counterparts

Following a commanding take of over $110 million at the box-office over the holiday weekend, all anyone is talking about right now is Bryan Singer’s stellar X-Men: Days of Future Past. Rumors are currently swirling about the post-credit scene in the film, how it sets up X-Men: Apocalypse, what characters and cast members will be featured in future films, and how any of it ties into the upcoming Fantastic Four. However, none of that has to do with why we asked you here today. No, see, something far more special happened that we to show you… mainly this:

Let’s just say it now: Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen are the coolest mutant actors on the planet right now.

Stewart and McKellen are well known for their upbeat sense of humor when it comes to their attitudes on and off camera, so to watch them put their younger counter-parts on the spot like this is truly hilarious. We also can’t deny that Fassbender absolutely nails McKellen, to the point where we could totally see the young Magneto doing ADR for his older counterpart if necessary. As for McAvoy, it was good, and Stewart’s reaction to it is priceless, but he’s no Fassbender, friends.

There’s one more younger counterpart impersonation we think everyone would have loved to see, but it unfortunately would have meant spoiling a cool bit part from Days of Future Past. Blu Ray extras it is!

Which impersonation is your favorite? Let us know in the comments!

  1. Kam Miller says:

    Damn. Fassbender was spot on!

  2. Love the whole bit and bless James McAvoy’s panic over the ST: TNG intro.

    • Will says:

Knowing James McAvoy is such a Trekkie that the Star Trek opening monologue is too sacred for him to do an impression of makes me so unbelievably happy inside.
