Watch the Lore for the JURASSIC PARK Franchise

Did you see Jurassic World this weekend? Probably as the dino-venture clawed its way to the second largest opening weekend in history. But just in case you found yourself a little confused by the events leading up to the fourth installment in the franchise (after all, Jurassic Park was released all of 22 years ago), Maker Studios’ animation series “Lore” has you covered.

The premise behind the Lore videos is simple: the animators encapsulate the lore, or backstory, of a movie franchise in about one minute. Previous film centric installments include The Avengers and Mad Max and in anticipation of Jurassic World, the team has summed up all of Jurassic Park, The Lost World and Jurassic Park 3 in just sixty seconds!

Lore doesn’t just summarize movies. The series have many different kinds of videos including the franchise recaps, “Fast Facts” about how the project is made and “Dev Lore” — “dev” standing for “development” — and telling the stories behind the making of the project. Lore makes videos about tons of popular video game titles and have expanded their roster to cover pop culture figures like Steven Spielberg and Stan Lee, TV shows such as Game of Thrones and Adventure Time and lots more! It’s easy to get lost down the rabbit hole of these videos so be sure to have a lot of time on your hands when you start watching.

Look below to find the one minute lore of Jurassic World, The Avengers and Mad Max! Who wants to bet that a Terminator Genisys segment is on the way?
