Add one five parts clone superstar to one part zombie hunter and you have Tatiana Maslany. The Orphan Black actress is one of the many folks (including our own Chris Hardwick!) The Hollywood Reporter is highlighting in their “Titans of Comic-Con” series and watching the video it’s not hard to see why.
Maslany, who will be making her second ever San Diego Comic-Con International appearance on Friday (keep your eyes peeled to this place if you want to hear more about the show from yours truly, Clone Club), was transformed from our sestrahood to an ass-kicking Simon Pegg cosplayer for the badass photoshoot thanks to her own love of Shaun of the Dead.
“I met Edgar Wright, and he was awesome,” Maslany said.” However she’s yet to meet the star of the series and the Cornetto king of our hearts. “I’d love to meet Simon Pegg. I saw Shaun of the Dead when it first came out, and I was just blown away. I was just like, ‘This is a perfect film.’ I cried. I laughed. I was terrified. I believed every moment.”
Pegg is a veritable emperor of Comic-Con, but Maslany is no stranger to fandom love and obsession, either. As the popularity of the sci-fi, BBC America series grows, so too do the fans and cosplayers wandering around San Diego dressed as Helena, Alison, Sarah, Rachel, and Cosima. (To say nothing of those über-clever clone swap iterations.)
What other fandom would you like to see Maslany â or any of her clone iterations â cosplay? Leave your thoughts in the comments!

Has Tatiana been on the Nerdist podcast yet? I can’t seem to recall. Regardless, she definitely needs to be!
I literally just typed that same question into Google to try to figure it out. I’m pretty sure she hasn’t been on yet… I’m sure she will be soon!
