Detecting a very palpable Sofia Coppola-esque ennui from millennial super-producer Ryan Hemsworth on his brand-new music video for “One For Me” from last year’s Guilt Trips LP. Hovering in the middle ground between his elemental, downtempo instrumental and rising R&B star Tinashe’s sky high vocals, Hemsworth goes about his glamorous daily routine with a laughably anhedonic attitude. Watch as he skypes with a doggie, yawns while driving a Lamborghini, and lazily eats crudités on a plush couch. Can’t you just see Bill Murray or Scarlett Johansson slipping easily into one of these scenes wearing a subtle frown?
