Watch Rainn Wilson, Steve Agee & More Hijack Ingrid Michaelson’s ‘Time Machine’ Music Video

Ingrid Michaelson has always been adorable, but we can’t help but swoon a little deeper after seeing her new video for “Time Machine,” which features some of our favorite male comedians vying for her affection mugging for the camera.

The song is off her latest album, 2014’s Light Out, and tells the tale of a romance gone terribly wrong. Sample lyric: “If I had a time machine and if life was a movie scene, I’d rewind and I’d tell me run.”

No wonder Michaelson chose to play out some of Hollywood’s most famous rom-come archetypes in the clip for “Time Machine.” However, in her version, all these silly male comedians keep messing her shiz up.

If you happened to blink and miss a comedian, the following funnymen make an appearance in the video: Rainn Wilson, Matt Jones, Jorge Garcia, Rob Delaney, Steve Agee, Brian Baumgartner, Dave Koechner, Garrett Dillahunt, and Donald Faison.

This definitely isn’t the first time a group of comedians have invaded a music video’s personal space. For example, not too long ago, we spotlighted Sleater-Kinney‘s “No Cities To Love,” which featured the singing talents of hilarious peeps like Fred Armisen and Andy Samberg. Plus, side-splitting ladies like Vanessa Bayer and Sarah Silverman also contributed to the musical cause.

Back in 2013, Ed Helms, Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis and Will Forte acted as stand-ins for Mumford & Sons‘s “Hopeless Wanderer” video.

Finally, who could forget Fiona Apple‘s unexpectedly hysterical “Not About Love” video, starring Zach Galifianakis? In our humble opinion, that’s really how it’s done, folks.
