After years of waiting and speculating, Mortal Kombat 11 is here! Watch the live reveal below. (NSFW, obviously.)

Creator Ed Boon took to the stage to show the frothing masses brand new gameplay footage for the new game, starting with Scorpion versus Baraka, two old favorites with some new moves, a lot of new modifications, and of course some incredibly gory finishing moves and attacks. This is not for the faint of heart. One of the brand new features is the “Flawless Block,” and another is a Fatal Blow, where if a fighter gets their health below 30%, they’ll be able to inflict grievous harm on their opponent.

It was also revealed that iconic character Sonya Blade will be played by none other than UFC hall-of-famer Ronda Rousey, who spoke about how much the original Mortal Kombat games inspired her as a kid. Bone breaking inspiration, no doubt.

Mortal Kombat 11 hits shelves and stores on April 23!
