And make sure you’re ready for the shot of adrenaline that comes your way when Dorothy, the Tin Man, the Scarecrow, and the Cowardly Lion are put in the hands of one of Hollywood’s most notorious action junkies.

The folks at Mashable Watercooler are back with another entrant in their “Trailer Mix” series, where they take famous films and try to see how they might look in a totally different genre. This time they took the iconic film The Wizard of Oz and re-imagined it as a high stakes, high octane, action movie directed by Michael Bay.

I have to say, and I can already feel some of you side-eyeing me, but I kind of want to see this movie. This trailer was like most Michael Bay trailers—kinda freaking awesome. They always seem like they are just going to be a ton of fun, even if they don’t always live up to those expectations. But did you see that Cowardly Lion jumping into action? Imagine what Bay could do with some flying monkeys too.

There is one issue here, though. Because they don’t edit the movie itself or add scenes that aren’t already in it, this is lacking one very important element to truly be a Michael Bay movie: explosions.

If he really were responsible for this film, the Wicked Witch of the West wouldn’t just die when she had some water poured on her; she’d be blown up by a missile that hit her as she flew away on her broom. Also, when Dorothy went up in the hot air balloon it would lead to a high speed chase with those aforementioned monkeys, all of whom would have machine guns attached to their backs.

…Michael Bay is going to try to make this movie when he sees this post, isn’t he?

I’M IN.

What other classic movie would it be fun to see get the Michael Bay treatment? Blow up our comments section below with your suggestions.
