Last year, Bethesda hosted its first ever E3 press conference–and boy what a show it was. For starters, gameplay footage for Doom, a franchise that hadn’t been seen since 2004, was shown off. Arkane Studios also brought their Dishonored 2 reveal to the table, with the exciting news that players will be able to play as Emily. The star of the show, however, was the highly anticipated Fallout 4, which we learned quite a bit about.  But, with two out of three of those games already out the gate, what will this year’s show hold?
The fact that Bethesda decided to hold another conference in the first place is a good sign something fantastic is on the way. It’s a no-brainer that we’ll see more Dishonored 2 content, and probably DLC for Doom and Fallout 4, but what about the other franchises under the publisher’s belt? Will we see a remaster of Skyrim? Or, will it be a new Elder Scrolls game altogether? We could also potentially see sequels to Wolfenstein: The New Order, The Evil Within, or Prey. But there’s no telling, because Bethesda has been keeping things pretty close to the chest.
It will also be interesting to see whether a new mobile game is announced. Fallout Shelter (which was made available on iOS after the conference) was an instant hit, and topped gaming charts in 48 countries soon after release. A companion app to Doom or Dishonored would certainly be welcome.
Whatever the case, our months of wondering are about to be over! You can catch the live stream at the top of the page, and follow along with our live-blog below (keep refreshing for updates). Also, don’t forget to check out the EA stream from earlier today, and the Microsoft, Ubisoft, and Sony briefings tomorrow!
