Watch and Dissect Every ORPHAN BLACK Instagram Teaser Right Here

We are, in short, totally obsessed with Orphan Black. Who isn’t at this point, right? Being a member of the Clone Club (a.k.a. fans of the BBC America series) is equal parts rewarding and frustrating, as the year-long wait for season two has felt particularly long and anticipatory. We’re lucky that the folks behind the series know this, and in teasing the upcoming April 19th premiere, they have provided no shortage of clips and footage. One such example of this embarrassment of riches was the series’ Instagram campaign, wherein the Tatiana Maslany-fronted series sent out a clip a day for 8 days, teasing the series, and characters old and new alike. And it’s been, in a word, amazing.

Given that today is Day 8 of the 8-day affair, we’ve decided to collect all of the videos (below) and take a stab at what takeaways we can glean from the wee clips.

“You Don’t OWN Us.”

That is, 100% Rachel Duncan…but is that really Sarah Manning? Given the eye make-up and the nose ring, we’re fairly certain this is Cosima.

“This is my biology. It’s my decision.”

Cosima is front-and-center again in this promo, hinting at her illness and some support from monitor-slash-maybe-lover Delphine (considering she’s schtoopin’ Dr. Leekie, one can never be too sure of her alliances).

“Who in the hell are you?”

Oh no! Fan favorite and high-strung (putting it lightly) soccer mom Alison is getting kidnapped? What’s going on?!

“There’s no middle ground anymore.”

Ooh Paul: are you playing DYAD or Sarah? We just can’t tell, but we don’t like it either way.

“Can’t you stop running for a minute?”

Recent cast addition Michiel Huisman (Nashville, Game of Thrones) is getting hot and heavy with Sarah in this clip: guess that means Paul is out, huh?

“I killed Aynsley!”

Perhaps the most exciting reveal was: Felix! And Alison! Reunited and it feels so gooood! Looks like we’re going to have to deal with that gruesome scarf-strangulation murder-by-inaction, too.

“I hear you’re very clever.”

Oh look: Rachel Duncan and Cosima: but will it be a battle of wits or wiles between these two? (Answer: we don’t care as long as we get to see it.)

“We just need to get out of here NOW.”

Uh oh: Sarah Manning + cops = no good can come from this.

So there are a few takeaways from these clips. One: Cosima’s illness is definitely going to be a central focus this season (we have some theories about that), and Sarah’s definitely going to be on the run from both the cops, DYAD, and the increasingly laser-focused eye of new/pro-clone Rachel Duncan. But we still have no idea what’s going on with Kira and Mrs. S following the duo’s disappearance. Considering the series’ creators have confirmed that season two picks up right where season one left off, however, we’re certain it will be addressed. We’re just too excited to stand the wait much longer! Dear 9PM hour of April 19th: hurry the eff up already.

Are you looking forward to season two of Orphan Black? Have any theories about the upcoming season? Quemment away, fair nerds!
