Adam West was the Batman I grew up on in the late 70’s through the 80’s. It’s a bit campy but no doubt entertaining.
To date the Adam West Batman has been the most accurate to the comic books (1960’s campy Batman). I hope the Ben Affleck Batman equals today’s comic book version.
To be fair, a lot of the comic’s campiness came from the show. While it certainly had a lightheartedness to it before that, it definitely increased that because of the show’s popularity.
Either way, it’s great. 🙂
Adam West is endlessly entertaining. Warner Bros. should make him the “Stan Lee” of the DC Cinematic universe; just have him strolling into Gotham and Metropolis, Central & Starling City, etc.
