We’re only a few short days away from the season 4 premiere of Netflix’s Voltron: Legendary Defender, and there are some definite questions that need answering following season 3 earlier this year. Like what is going to happen when Prince Lotor rifts into the other universe? Is Shiro really Shiro or is he a clone? And what will become of Kaltenecker the cow?!?! All big questions, but one that’s been asked since nearly the first episode ever is what has become of Pidge’s family? She got a little bit of info recently, but in the below exclusive clip, she’s off trying to find out more.
After obtaining that one little bit of video footage proving her brother was alive, our tech genius green paladin has been low-key searching for clues ever since, and in the clip we see she’s willing to pay a pretty penny for it. Unfortunately some gun runners don’t want to talk. Unfortunate for that gun-runner, I mean. Pidge is a gosh darn Voltron pilot! She’s not gonna back down from some jag with swords, is she?
Pidge has long been one of my favorite characters on the show and this scene gives her a great opportunity to show how effective she is at combat since joining the Voltron team, and takes guff from exactly 0.00001% people she meets. The scene also looks absolutely gorgeous, evoking things like Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Blade Runner in terms of the design for the city in which she’s traversing. It’s pretty rare for Voltron to show us planets with that level of city so it’s pretty refreshing to see, especially paired with Pidge going all private eye on our faces.
All of our questions will be answered (hopefully) once the fourth season of Voltron: Legendary Defender appears on Netflix, Friday October 13! What pressing question are you most excited to see answered? Let us know in the comments below!
