VOLTRON WonderCon Panel Details, Exclusive Artwork Announce

With a brilliant mix of lore-heavy space opera, robot-fighting action, quiet character drama, and hilariously weird comedy, Voltron: Legendary Defender is one of my favorite shows running. After tearing through all of season two from the Netflix series (which I recapped all of right here), I’m super eager to hear from the minds behind the series and discuss with them what’s next. And if you’re going to WonderCon in Anaheim, CA this year, you’ll get the opportunity to watch exactly that.

I am incredibly excited to get to announce that the official Voltron: Legendary Defender panel will be taking place at WonderCon on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 5:30pm in Room 300DE. Why am I so excited? Because I’m going to be moderating the thing! Join me as I talk to Executive Producer Joaquim Dos Santos, Co-Executive Producer Lauren Montgomery, Story Editor Tim Hedrick, and cast members Jeremy Shada (Lance), Josh Keaton (Shiro), Bex Taylor-Klaus (Pidge), Tyler Labine (Hunk), and Kimberly Brooks (Allura). Together we’ll talk about the second season, go deeper into some of the season’s big reveals, and reveal the favorite moments and episodes.

Fans should come to the panel expecting two things: 1) the opportunity to ask your own burning questions, as there’ll be a lengthy Q&A sesh toward the end, and 2) to get their hands on an exclusive piece of art, made specially for those in attendance. Wanna take a look?

This lithograph will be given to each and every fan in attendance and features Keith embracing his Galra side, clutching his Marmora blade, surrounded by a sea of possible enemies. This was a major theme to season two, and now you can commemorate this crazy turn of events. So bring a hard-sided poster tubey so you don’t get it all screwed up before you get home.

I’m stoked to be able to moderate this panel and I’m especially excited to get to share in the love for this amazing show with fans and creators alike. Join us if you can!

Let me know your thoughts on Voltron: Legendary Defender‘s second season in the comments below!
