Visit the Nerdist Industries Booth at the Hester Street Fair in Hollywood on Saturday

Psst…

Hey, you. Yeah, you. You gonna be in Los Angeles on Saturday? Got something for you to do. See, there’s this thing in New York, the Hester Street Fair, and it’s become a pretty big deal, with specially curated vendors in food, crafts, designers, all sorts of stuff. And they’re gonna be doing one in the heart of Hollywood, in a lot across from the W Hollywood hotel at Hollywood and Argyle (yes, the corner that gave the “group” that recorded the hit novelty song “Alley Oop” with its name). And we’re gonna be there.

By “we,” I mean Nerdist Industries. And by “there,” I mean the Hester Street Fair in Hollywood, which is launching the first of four L.A. editions of the New York extravaganza with this week’s “Bite Size Food and Craft Festival,” which will bring some top New York and L.A. indie designers together with mini portions of stuff like BabyCakes cupcakes and Coolhaus ice cream sandwiches. Our friends at Awkward Family Photos will also be there with a photo booth where you can strike an appropriately ridiculous pose for posterity. Amoeba Music will make the trek all the way from Sunset, too. Andy Dick will be creating poems for a buck a piece. There’ll be a craft beer garden, some of L.A.’s best food trucks, and more. And we will be there, so stop by and say hello to some of our fine Nerdist News folks at the Nerdist Industries booth.

You can get more information by clicking here. Here’s an idea: Visit the fair all day, then come on downtown to Club Nokia at L.A. Live and see the Nerdist Podcast Live in the evening. Perfect! Go here for tickets to the show. That would be a kinda perfect day, wouldn’t it?

  1. Nope- not sure what’s planned. But there’s enough going on all around to make the whole thing worth a visit. If I wasn’t otherwise engaged, I’d go for the food and beer alone….

  2. Auror Kirk says:

Any specifics on what Nerdist is going to have going on?
