Vin Diesel Talks THE LAST WITCH HUNTER, D&D, and More (Plus a Massive Giveaway)

By now, you’ve likely had the chance to witness the majesty that is D&Diesel. For those of you who failed your Perception checks or those of you who have been living under a rock, Vin Diesel recently came to our offices and sat down with us, alongside members of Geek and Sundry’s Critical Role, to play Dungeons & Dragons. In short, it was awesome.

As many know, Diesel is a longtime fan of the pen-and-paper RPG, and his love for the game actually led to the creation of his latest film, The Last Witch Hunter. Diesel stars as Kaulder, an 800-year-old witch hunter trying to stop the newly-resurrected Witch Queen before it’s too late. If that wasn’t cool enough, then consider the fact that Kaulder was inspired by his old D&D character Melkor, a witch hunter whose class he created from scratch. After the dust settled from D&Diesel, I sat down with the mammoth movie star to talk about how exactly The Last Witch Hunter came to be, his lifelong relationship with Dungeons & Dragons, geeking out over his co-star Michael Caine, and much more.

As any D&D player worth their salt knows, no quest is complete without uncovering a sweet, sweet cache of loot. Well, since we can’t exactly give you an enchanted flaming sword (believe me, I tried), we have the next best thing: an epic The Last Witch Hunter prize pack.

The Last Witch Hunter - Final Poster

  • The Last Witch Hunter Hat — perfect for keeping the sun out of your eyes while hunting witches!
  • The Last Witch Hunter T-shirt — even witch hunters love being swaddled in 100% cotton!
  • The Last Witch Hunter temporary tattoos — if you like how it looks, get it tattooed for real!
  • The Last Witch Hunter final poster — because you need some badass art in your life!

In order to win, simply make a Nerdist.com account and leave a comment below with your witch hunting weapon of choice! Be careful, though, you’ll only have until Friday, October 30 to enter before this contest is vanquished once and for all by Kaulder’s mighty blade. For complete contest rules, click here.
