It’s official: the iPhone is coming to Verizon. February 10th, pre-orders now, CDMA 3G with mobile hotspot capability, $199 for the 16GB version and $299 for the 32GB version.
In case you care, that is. Some of us aren’t leaving our carriers or rushing to buy an iPhone, but, hey, it’s news.

Yeah, well, too late–I’ve got a better phone.
My ex had an iPhone I played with and liked. After waiting through phantom release dates for YEARS, I finally bought a Droid. It’s more suited to my purposes and at the very least arguably smarter (though I think its case would hold up in front of most judges, legal pun intended). Steve Jobs needs to get the hell over himself.
I will stick with my HTC EVO 4G thank you very munch.
So it’s official! Now Verizon and it’s wonderful 3G Network and upcoming perfectly wonderful 4G Network will have a reason to continue forward, because it’s EXTREMELY obvious that the Android Market has re-invented the word “crawl” when it comes to the contemporary progression of “app-style” online mobile marketplace structure! I think I may just throw my Droid X out the window, damn that lack of useful insurance coverage Verizon!
