Valve Marks Down Anime Titles On Steam For The Weekend

I’m sure many of you love anime, and I’m sure many of you love video games, so why not combine two things you love by hopping on some anime video games? I’m talking titles like Hatoful Boyfriend, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst, and Activision’s The Legend of Korra (yes, totally aware this isn’t necessarily your traditional anime) game that released this past holiday. Valve has never put spotlight on anime games in such a fashion that would warrant a sale, but there’s a first time for everything: all of these and more will be available at discounted rates during this weekend’s Steam Anime Sale. From now until January 12 at 10am PST, folks can hop on Steam and grab pretty much any anime-themed title on the market for the low-low.

There’s over 40 anime games available at reduced rates, with price markdowns ranging in the 75 percentile. Some of the selection are titles that date back as far fall 2010, though most are games that released over the last two years. Even BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend, a game that just released in early December 2014, got a 25% mark down during the sale. Way to kick the year off wringing our wallets, Valve.
