It’s a joke, right?
We’ve heard about this possibility before, but here’s an actual trailer for “The Governator,” and, yes, it’s a cartoon about the former Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, being developed by Stan Lee (!), with a cameo by Larry King and the ubiquitous Black Eyed Peas on the soundtrack:
Words fail. A late April Fool’s joke? Saturday morning cartoon or feature? What is this? It’s obviously meant as self-parody, but… well, it is what it is, whatever it is. I won’t accept it as a real thing until it’s actually released. And even then, I’m not sure.
UPDATE: TV show in 2012, 3-D movie in 2013. It is.

I can forgive the Iron Man/Transformers/Voltron ripoff and the tired 27 year old catchphrase but I don’t see anyone asking the REAL question here: why are super powerful robots stealing money?
That looks ridiculously fun. I am not sure that feeling can hold past one or two episodes though.
I know he destroyed the public school system in California but I’m just glad something good came out of it. Horaaaaaay!

I believe that the art style resembles that of the Boondocks animated series. Hopefully this is all a big joke from Aaron McGruder and his animation team. If not I believe that it is a sign of an impending apocalypse.
