In the last three hours of 24âs return, Jack has laid waste to a covert operations unit of the C.I.A., invaded the HQ of known British gangsters and, most recently, shot up the legs of civilians in order to gain access to the U.S. Embassy following the compromise of his fake identity at the hands of Chloeâs new boss, Adrian Cross. Oh, and we learned Chloeâs entire family was murdered in the last four years thanks to a botched assassination attempt meant for her, thus explaining her recent Girl With The Dragon Tattoo cosplay.
This week, Jack will take hostages in order to gain access to the flight keys that will clear Lt. Chris Tanner of wrong-doing. Fox has released two clips from the episode to get you pumped. You know, in case you werenât already:
While making the press rounds, Kiefer Sutherland described this seasonâs Bauer as the angriest and most unrelenting that heâs ever been, and that completely shines through here as Jack takes down an embassy guard in a full-fledged beatdown.
Itâs also nice to know it isnât going to take long for Jack to be reunited with the Hellers. His arc with the family in Seasons Four and Five are still some of the showâs best work, and from the moment they were announced to be returning to the series, fans were filled with nothing but pure excitement for the inevitable reunion.
24: Live Another Day airs Mondays at 9/8c on Fox.
