TV-Cap: SCREAM QUEENS Trailer, SUPERNATURAL Finale Photos, & More

I have time travel on the brain tonight thanks to The Flash. The Season 1 finale aired last night and without diving too far into spoiler territory, it was very timey wimey wibbly wobbly. And also emotional and fun. Today’s TV-Cap has a look into Season 2 of The Flash, a tidbit about Legends of Tomorrow, a full trailer for Scream Queens, and more.

Sorority Life. Sororities come with their own subset of horrors, but in Fox’s Scream Queens, it gets a little more intense — like lawnmower to the face intense. The first full trailer for the new series is bloody but also humorous. Even though I’m a huge wimp when it comes to scary stories, I think I can handle this. I hope I can handle this. And also: Jaime Lee Curtis is my new hero. [ScreenCrush]

Alternate Timelines. It’s all happening. Time travel is part of The Flash now, and it isn’t going away. Grant Gustin (Barry Allen) spoke to TV Guide and said, “What’s fun about this show is that there’s going to be multiple timelines as we move forward. I think we’re going to start showing Earth-One and Earth-Two in the near future. There will be kind of different dimensions going on.” The multiverse. Oh. Boy. [Nerdist]

Part of Every World. As The Flash wrapped up, Gustin also spoke with BuzzFeed and talked a little about Legends of Tomorrow. We know the series features some members of The Flash’s rogues’ gallery such as Captain Cold and Heat Wave, but their involvement in the spinoff won’t take them away from Arrow or The Flash. Gustin said, “Like, I’m on Flash, but as far as a lot of those other characters are concerned, they’re just on three TV shows at one time, which is really cool. Wentworth [Miller, who plays Captain Cold] and Dominic [Purcell, who plays Heat Wave] are on Legends, but they’ll be on Arrow and Flash, too. It’s like a revolving door for all three shows.” There’s so much potential for crossovers. [Comic Book Resources]

Here’s Death! Dean has to deal with the Mark of Cain. Period. The curse is destroying his life, his relationships, basically everything. Sam is following a path that’s just as dark as Dean’s in order to save his brother. The Season 10 finale of Supernatural airs tonight, and the synopsis says Dean makes a shocking decision about the Mark. Also, Death makes an appearance. Epidemic Unleashed. New York City is facing serious problems in FX’s The Strain. The city is falling prey to the vampire outbreak, and the struggle will continue in Season 2. FX has announced that the next season of the series will premiere on July 12 with new threats and new creatures. And if that’s not enough of The Strain for you, FX is teaming up with Instructure and the University of California Irvine for a massive open online course (MOOC) called “Fight or Die: The Science Behind FX’s The Strain.” [TVLine]

Dinklage Meets Coldplay. NBC’s Red Nose Day is bringing all sorts of entertainment to the yard, including a Game of Thrones musical performed by Peter Dinklage and Coldplay. Lannisters, man. Who knew? [Nerdist]

Meta on Mad Men. The finale of Mad Men brought peace or at least a moment of brightness to some of the cast, especially Don Draper. But what will he do next? Jon Hamm talked to The New York Times about the ending and his interpretation of what happened to Don. Read the interview here.

Concept to Costume. Marvel’s Daredevil had plenty going for it without the red costume, but I’m glad they debuted it in the first season of the Netflix series. The final look was slightly different than anything we’ve seen in the comics, and artist Ryan Meinerding headed the team responsible for coming up with designs. Marvel spoke with Meinerding about the tone and grounded look of the costume, and it’s interesting to read about the evolution. [Marvel]

Have any predictions about the Supernatural Season 10 finale tonight? It sure looks like Dean is going to step into Death’s job. Let me know your thoughts in the comments or at Twitter.
