TV-Cap: Nathan Fillion on THE BIG BANG THEORY, ONCE UPON A TIME Villain to Return, & More

Tuesday is my current favorite day of the week. Why, you ask? Simple. It means I’ll have a new episode of Marvel’s Agent Carter in front of my eyeballs in mere hours. Time will hopefully fly until 9:00pm, and then I get to watch Peggy Carter take care of business. Until then, let’s discuss all the television things. Marvel’s cast yet another awesome someone in A.K.A. Jessica Jones, Nathan Fillion will appear on The Big Bang Theory, Once Upon a Time gets a villainous repeat, and more.

Yes, It’s Really Him. The Big Bang Theory will have a cool guest star in its February 19th episode: Nathan Fillion. Yes, the actor will appear as himself in the CBS comedy. Raj and Leonard will spot Fillion in a restaurant and debate over whether it’s really him and wheter they should ask him for a picture. You know, basically what most of us would do if we spotted Fillion while eating dinner out. [Entertainment Weekly]

Hello, Trinity. Another character has been cast in Marvel’s A.K.A. Jessica Jones: Carrie-Anne Moss. Best known as Trinity in The Matrix, Moss is playing “a no-nonsense woman who could prove a powerful ally to Jessica.” Well, fortunately Moss can rock no-nonsense. Though Marvel didn’t name the character, The Wrap reports her name is Harper.

Wicked Redux. Rebecca Mader stole the hearts of Once Upon a Time fans with her deliciously over-the-top performance as the Wicked Witch/Zelena. And happily, we haven’t seen the last of her. She’ll be returning to the series later this season. We know that she was taken out at the end of season three so it must mean flashbacks. Here’s hoping the flashbacks take place after Zelena’s green transformation. [TVLine]

Shooting Practice. All caught up on 12 Monkeys? Then dive into Clarke’s recap of the most recent episode, “Cassandra Complex.” Warning: The jumps around time might make your head spin.

Oh, Ben Wyatt. We’re not too far away from the next episode of Parks and Recreation, but we’re also not very patient people. I blame the Internet. Fortunately, you can watch a preview of Ben being drunk, awkward, and brutally honest in his speech at Donna and Joe’s rehearsal dinner. [Entertainment Weekly]

Who’s the Baby Now? Dean Winchester never has an easy time of it. He’s been a dog, a demon, and now he’s reverted to his 14-year-old self. In Supernatural’s “About a Boy,” Sam and Dean investigate mysterious disappearances and the trail of bread crumbs leads them to Hansel. As in Hansel and Gretel. Will Sam save Dean? Probably, but it’s fun look through photos from the episode with an itty bitty Dean and with Lesley Nicol (Downton Abbey) as the evil witch. [TV Fanatic]

Busted Or Not? The newest episode of MythBusters focused on video game hijinks from DOOM and Fruit Ninja. If you missed the episode or want a refresher, read Kyle’s break down of what we learned.

It Isn’t Harry Potter. An adaptation of J.K. Rowling’s The Casual Vacancy, her follow-up to Harry Potter, is headed to BBC One on February 15th. The first trailer for the miniseries is here and though Michael Gambon is part of the cast, don’t go in expecting witches and wizards – just lots of delicious drama. [Vulture]

What wise words would you impart to Donna and Joe? Tell us in the comments.
