TV-Cap: FEAR THE WALKING DEAD Key Art, a New Show About Wine, and More

We said goodbye to two very different shows over the weekend: MythBusters and Downton Abbey. It’s never easy to let go of series you’re attached to, but on the upshot, there’s always something else waiting to fill the hole in your heart. Maybe you’ll find the next thing in today’s TV-Cap? Keep reading to find out a possible return for Agent Carter, to see key art for season two of Fear the Walking Dead, to learn about a new wine show with Matthew Rhys and Matthew Goode, and more.

No Taking to the Sea. Heading to the ocean seems like a fine plan to avoid zombies, right? I think so. But the second season of AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead will show that’s not a viable survival option. They’re emphasizing the presence of zombies everywhere with their new season two key art. Yikes. The show comes back on April 10. [ScreenRant, Image: AMC]

It’s Baaaack. Fear not, Rick and Morty fans! You don’t have to wait quite as long for season three as you might have thought. Series co-creator Dan Harmon appeared at Magic City Comic Con and said the animated series will be back at the end of the year and will have 14 episodes instead of 10.  Huzzah! Video of the panel is embedded above. [Nerdist]

Such Sweet Sorrow. It’s no secret that we adore MythBusters here at Nerdist. We put together a little goodbye, embedded above. Enjoy. [Nerdist]

Pinnnoooot. If you’ve watched Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, chances are good you have a hard time not busting into Tituss’ “Peeno Noir” song every time you see a bottle of the red wine. Well, now you can drink it. Pinot by Tituss is official, and you can order it online. [Nerdist]

Newest Additions. Even though we don’t know much about what new cast additions to Showtime’s Twin Peaks revival are actually doing in the series, we have names to share. Actors Patrick Fischler and David Dastmalchian are the latest actors to join the series. [Nerdist]

Returns and Additions. USA’s Mr. Robot has promoted a couple of actors to series regulars and added some new faces. Michael Cristofer (Phillip Price) and Stephanie Corneliussen (Joanna Wellick) are leveling up. Joey Bada$$ and Chris Conroy are also coming on board in recurring roles. [Deadline]

This Isn’t Encouraging. Remember when Matt Murdock got his ass kicked by Nobu in season one of Daredevil? It was ugly. A poster for season two shows it’s going to get worse. The Hand attacks, and I’m concerned for Matt Murdock’s ribs. The series returns with its second season on March 18. [Nerdist, Image: Netflix]

Wine and Elegance. How would you like to watch two attractive men travel around gorgeous landscapes while exploring the topic of wine? I actually wasn’t sold on the idea of The Wine Show until I watched the above trailer. Matthew Rhys and Matthew Goode star in the upcoming series from ITV, and it looks absolutely delightful. [Vulture]

Rumored Return. ABC handed out early renewals for 15 series, but Agent Carter wasn’t on the list. The second season of the show didn’t exactly perform well as far as ratings, but despite that, it might have a chance. Nerd Reactor reports, “A source within the studio has revealed to us that ABC has decided to stick with the show and will be renewing Agent Carter for season three.” It’s a rumor and we’re reaching out to Marvel for comments, but I’m going to allow myself a tiny bit of hope. [ComicBook.com]

An Alliance? Is it even possible for Gordon or anyone else to save Gotham? At this rate, I don’t think so. A preview for Monday’s episode of the Fox series shows Strange working to trap Victor Fries. [Nerdist]

Did you watch the MythBusters series finale? Head to the comments and let me know your thoughts about that and anything/everything in today’s TV-Cap.
