I’m so confused about today. Even though I worked yesterday, it feels like it’s another Monday. Rude. On the upside, I learned we’re getting more Agent Carter episodes for the second season and that doesn’t stink. Read more about Season 2 of Agent Carter, the Twin Peaks revival, and the role Harley Quinn might have played in Arrow in today’s TV-Cap.
No HQ Here. Remember when a promo for Season 2 of Arrow made everyone flip out because it teased the arrival of Harley Quinn? The character was in pigtails and an A.R.G.U.S. top and even had a line in the episode called “Suicide Squad” where she mentioned being a therapist. Nothing came of it though, and it sounds like that’s for a reason. Flickering Myth reports that while Willa Holland (Thea Queen) was at MCM London she said, “We had big plans for Harley. But, I guess something came down from DC execs that told us to shut it down. I mean we had that tease with the pigtails and the A.R.G.U.S. outfit but, weâll never see it. We would love to [have] Harley in Arrow but it will never happen.” On one hand, bummer. It could be because of Harley Quinn’s upcoming appearance in the Suicide Squad movie. On the other hand, Arrow has plenty of DC Comics villains to deal with as is. [IGN, gif via MTV]
A Little More. Who’s ready for more of Marvel’s Agent Carter? I hope you are all raising your hands right now. Earlier this month, we learned the series is coming back for Season 2 and now we know we’re getting two more episodes. Hayley Atwell appeared at Comicpalooza and while on a panel said the following about the next season. “…itâs going to be set in L.A. and with 10 episodes itâs going to be a very glamorous, dark world of 1940s Los Angeles.” Ten episodes instead of eight? This deal is getting better all the time. [ComicsAlliance]
The Good and the Bad. The most recent episode of Game of Thrones made me sigh and also cheer a little. They made some uh, interesting choices with Sansa, Gilly, and the Sand Snakes but some better choices for Stannis, Cersei, and Tyrion. Conflicted feelings–I have them. Sort out all the events in “The Gift” by reading Alicia’s recap.

You Can Never Leave. Another guest is checking into American Horror Story: Hotel. Showrunner Ryan Murphy announced that Max Greenfield (New Girl) will appear in the upcoming season “like you’ve never seen him.” He also seems to hint that Greenfield’s character won’t make it out alive–but would Murphy be so obvious? It’s Out There. In case you didn’t hear the news over the weekend, the Supergirl pilot has been leaked. People are discussing whether the leak was intentional and also whether the first episode entertaining. Dan Casey talks about the reactions to the pilot and more in yesterday’s Nerdist News.
Luke and Lorelei Meet Again? I have Gilmore Girls on the brain lately. And by lately, I mean pretty much all the time. There’s the upcoming reunion panel at ATX Television Festival, Matthew Czuchry recently talked about Logan and Rory, and now Scott Patterson (Luke Danes) is hinting at an on-screen reunion. Could it be? He appearned on the Gilmore Guys podcast and said “There are talks going on at the moment.” He also said, “I canât really go into any details, but there is some activity. Iâm hopeful, and Iâm in. I think it would be a big event, and I think it would be a great fan celebration.” He doesn’t want to get hopes up too much though and told The Huffington Post, “I don’t want to give the fans false hope. I will say there have been some conversations.” I can only hope the conversations are as snappy and funny as the ones in Gilmore Girls. [Entertainment Weekly]
A Bigger Cup. When David Lynch returned to Showtime’s Twin Peaks revival, we learned the third season of the cult classic series would be larger than nine episodes. Thanks to Sherilyn Fenn (Audrey Horne) we know now there will be 18 episodes. The actress shared the news on a panel at Crypticon in Seattle over Memorial Day weekend. She mentions the episode count at the 3:15 mark in the above video and explains what caused the hiccup with Lynch. Fenn also said they’re shooting at the original Washington locations, including Twede’s Cafe: “[Davidâs] already come here. Theyâre redoing the R&R Diner to look exactly like it did in the show, and then the owners of the diner are going to keep it that way.” [Slashfilm]
Arty George Costanza. If you’re looking for ways to pass the time until all of Seinfeld is available to watch on Hulu on June 24, you can flip through Nicko Phillips’s art. He draws George Costanza as a huge variety of other characters in pop culture because, why not? [Nerdist]
