Television renewals and cancellations are happening all over the place. Networks are mostly caught up at this point but a few shows — like Constantine — are still in the undecided column. As your social media feeds fill up with news, please remember that a show getting cancelled isn’t a thing to celebrate. Hundreds of jobs are attached to each and every TV show, and any time one is cancelled, it means all those people are out of work. So, basically: be respectful, yo.

Strange Sensations. What would it be like to be part of a group of eight people with shared abilities and feelings? Sounds confusing and crazy in the best way, right? That’s what’s happening in the Wachowski’s new Netflix series Sense8. The trailer has me intrigued for the drama that premieres on June 12. [Nerdist]
Onwards and Upwards. Whatever else happens today, remember one important thing: Marvel’s Agent Carter is coming back for Season 2. Joy. I have it. ABC dropped news about almost all of their series last night and besides Agent Carter, renewals include Galavant (ahhh!), Once Upon a Time, and Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. among others. Summer Is Over. As far as summer vacations go, Phineas and Ferb’s has been rather fantastic. But, winter is coming and all that jazz so the series is airing its final episode on June 12. You’ll be able to say goodbye in style though because Disney XD will air a 73 hour (!) Phineas and Ferb marathon leading into the finale. That’s a commitment. Time for a Mission. Politics don’t have to be super serious. HBO’s upcoming dark comedy The Brink takes a lighter look at a geopolitical crisis with stars Tim Robbins (Secretary of State Walter Larson), Jack Black (Foreign Service officer Alex Talbot), and Pablo Schreiber (Navy fighter pilot Zeke Tilson). The first trailer for the series gives you an idea about the tone, but honestly, they had me with Robbins and Black. The Brink premieres on June 21.
It Has a Name! We can finally shelve the mouthful of a title that is the Arrow/The Flash spinoff because it officially has a name. The CW has ordered DC’s Legends of Tomorrow to series. Boom. It has an epic ring to it and synopsis matches the heft of the title: “When heroes alone are not enough… the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat – one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?” That ragtag team includes Atom, Captain Cold, Heat Wave, Hawkgirl, and more. Pardon my puddle of drool. [Nerdist]
About Time. Fans of Amy Schumer should prepare for more laughs because the comic is getting her first HBO comedy special. Chris Rock is directing the special that will air later this year. And while we’re on the subject of Schumer, please take a few minutes to watch the wonderful “Girl, You Don’t Need Makeup” from Inside Amy Schumer. [The Hollywood Reporter]
One Packed House. The Full House reunion on Netflix (Fuller House) seemingly isn’t leaving anyone out of the party. Dave Coulier confirmed he’ll make an appearance and will be directed by Mark Cendrowski. [Deadline, image via Dave Coulier]
That’s One Way to Go. Oliver/Al Sah-him is making some questionable life decisions right now — as in the stupid kind of life decisions. His grand plan seems to be going awry, and since the end of Season 3 of Arrow is almost here, he doesn’t have much time to change course. Read Kyle’s review of “This Is Your Sword.”
Pour One Out. As renewals come in so do cancellations, and these are some of the shows that unfortunately will not return: Fox’s The Mindy Project (though there is reportedly hope for the series to continue at Hulu), The CW’s Hart of Dixie and The Messengers, and ABC’s Forever and Cristela.
