The worlds of humans and trolls continue to collide when DreamWorks and Netflix’s Trollhunters from Guillermo del Toro, you know, the Oscar-winner, returns for its third and final season. Jim, originally voiced by the late Anton Yelchin but now voiced by Emile Hirsch, continues his quest, and his Trollhunters team expands with Aja and Krel, voiced by new cast members Tatiana Maslany and Diego Luna. We’re excited to exclusively share the first trailer for DreamWorks Trollhunters Part 3, premiering on May 25.
The Trollhunters have quite the task ahead of them. They’re trying to stop Gunmar and Morgana (because Gunmar wasn’t enough) from bringing darkness to the world forever with Eternal Night. No big deal, just a problem your average teenager has to deal with. They can’t stop these powerful forces alone though, so they search for Merlin to ask him to help. As you can see in the above trailer, they find the legendary wizard, which hopefully means they stand a chance, right? Fingers crossed.
