Troll or Service? We’re Not Sure About Spoil Me

Look, I’ll be completely honest with you: I really don’t care about spoilers. In fact, I’m one of those horrible people who would really rather know exactly what I’m getting into when I head out to a scary movie or sit down to watch something on TV that involves anything jumping out and saying “Boo!” There are just certain things you’ll never get me to watch without telling me the ending first. Luckily, the internet likes to provide me with the tools to feed my need for spoilers.

Meet Spoil Me, the internet’s very first spoiler database to keep you from surprises. Take a moment and go explore. Unless of course you’re one of those people who hates spoilers, in which case I’m not really sure what you’re doing reading this article anyway? And if you don’t want to be spoiled on old movies, avert your eyes now.

The spoilers are pretty legit and the database is straightforward. You just type in the name of a movie you want to know about, and they tell you how many spoilers have been submitted and take you straight to your query. Here’s what we got for The Usual Suspects.

As users of the website, you can submit your own spoilers. I’ll be honest, some of the spoilers are…not exactly accurate. Here’s what we got for Star Wars: A New Hope.

The only response I really have to this is an emoticon so I’ll spare you. As you can see from the two examples above, Spoil Me doesn’t just give you the spoiler – they also give you the option to share your spoilers with your friends via Twitter, Facebook, and email. The choice is yours as to how cruel you want to be to your friends I guess.

Tell us if Spoil Me is something you would use either to learn about movies or to torture your friends in the comments below!
