Tony Stark Should Become a NASA Astronaut

Think about it: he’s the only inventor who could out-Musk Elon, he is a billionaire, and we know his various suits can withstand both intense radiation and harsh, airless environments. It makes Tony Stark the ideal interplanetary explorer. Almost five years ago, one designer brought this vision of Iron Man to life with an amazing custom figurine.

Designed by Heath Hammond for the Iron Man CollARTible Expo (for Iron Man 2‘s release), the custom figurine depicts a NASA Astronaut (Lt. R Crusoe) stranded on a barren planet. According to Hammond, the “concept [was] motivated by the movie ‘Robinson Crusoe on Mars,’ and the NASA EVA space suit was developed by Stark Industries.”
