  1. RedwoodCoast says:

Exclusive (sigh), nothing is forever, too bad xbox cant get its act together.   Nerdist News, here’s to the next million.  I’m sensing a hockey stick moment.

  2. boB says:

Guess this is the end of my Tomb Raider days.  I won’t complain too much, because we PC gamers tend to have it better than anyone else in terms of sheer amount of content as well as quality.

  3. Keith says:

I am glad I bought an Xbox One and the ending of the show made me tear up a little. He will be missed. Thanks for the news

  4. Lilblufrakker says:

I will miss Tomb Raider. I won’t buy a Microsoft platform just to play it. Once they don’t hit their sales figures, they’ll port it over……I hope

  5. Adam says:

A million people get to see your pretty face, that’s kind of crazy Jess….

  6. Orionsangel says:

Crystal Dynamics complained about the poor sales of the last TR game on multiplatforms. How well will it do on one platform? Smart move jackasses. Honestly, there was absolutely no good reason for Crystal Dynamics to take this deal, other than just wanting the money. It’s a sad state of affairs, but money can buy anything.

    • Iceman says:

Yeah I’m sure Sony doesn’t write checks either

    • boB says:

Well, of course it was about making money; that’s the whole reason corporations exist, for better or worse.  The question is whether the exclusivity contract is worth whatever they end up losing in sales.  I’m gonna go out on a limb and say no.  Consoles are getting more and more expensive each generation, and PC and mobile gaming is growing as console gaming is shrinking.
