TOKYOPOP: Cosplay Friday #1

It’s not just Friday, you guys – it’s Cosplay Friday, our new weekly feature from TOKYOPOP, in which we round up the latest and greatest cosplay floating around the Internet. So, without further ado, let’s set aside tedious exposition and cut to the costumed chase.

We would totally read this crossover comic. Or watch their buddy-cop movie Billionaire Cops. Also, be sure to read our interview with Keith ZenDragon (the Iron Man above) to get some insight into how he made this costume a reality.

Who needs Slave Leias when you have a brigade of Iron Man Laker Girls? Don’t get handsy though; it’s rude and those Arc Reactors are operational.

The succinctly-named Tanuki-Tina-Asai has a Leeloo (The Fifth Element) cosplay that could make Korben Dallas do a double-take.

Why is this not already a show?

I’d be remiss in my duties if I didn’t share this gem from NYCC: Just Cos‘ Chloe Dykstra as Lara Croft (Tomb Raider) and Ashley Eckstein as Asokha Tano (Star Wars: The Clone Wars). Piqued your interest? Check out our Pinterest page for more awesome NYCC photos.

Well, it’s not Halloween just yet, but that doesn’t mean that Maho-Urei’s Jack Skellington (The Nightmare Before Christmas) isn’t super rad.

We were pretty disappointed we realized this wasn’t an upcoming live-action adaptation of Kiki’s Delivery Service, but we’ll settle for some terrific cosplay instead.

What an ice queen! No, seriously, that’s Blue Rose’s (Tiger & Bunny) whole schtick. Don’t look at us like that. Go watch an episode already. Or go give 18skylark a high five.

The only thing better than playing Borderlands 2 into the wee hours of the morning is seeing Mad Moxxi in real life courtesy of Jessica Nigri.

Whether or not you liked the ending of Mass Effect 3 is irrelevant because this Shepard cosplay is our favorite on the Citadel.

Sweet Jesus, this A Clockwork Orange from Mike Rollerson cosplay is viddy frightening and viddy impressive. Wouldn’t you agree, me ol’ Droogies?

Well, that’s all for this week, cosplay fans. We’ll be back next week with another heapin’ helpin’ of costumed goodness. What do you think? Quemment below and let us know! Got some hot cosplay tips or someone you think should be featured? Quemment or drop me a line on Twitter!
