  1. Matt10 says:

I couldn’t tell if they were there. I must have been mistaken. Sorry about that, but why would you have Kevin Murphy and Bill Corbett as just background voices when they prove over and over agin that they are great vocal comedians on RIfftrax?

  2. Ian says:

I can recognize Bill Corbett’s voice but not Kevin Murphy’s. This is amazing. As a fan of TAH and MST3K I really hope that this isn’t just a one-time thing.

  3. acker says:

Kevin and Bill sang some and were two of the Oscars Wilde. One each. So they weren’t using their voices. They were using Paul Lynde voices.

  4. Josh says:

“‘The worst baseball team in history,’ said mid-age Oscar Wilde. Four Oscar Wildes laughed.”

That’s funny on soooooooo many different levels! Why there’s # (1) the obvious level — I mean, a baseball team of Oscar Wildes? What’s not funny about that? Call it, “The importance of being on time and in uniform”. (2) only the Oscar Wilde that you guys acted like wouldn’t know that, with five Oscar Wildes, the “worst BASKETBALL team in history” is probably a more appropriate line. Of course, you who wrote this is crazy smart, and obviously knew that basketball was invented in 1891, nine years before Oscar Wilde’s death, and he likely would never have heard of it. So the line is doubly funny, AND historically accurate! (3) I mean, what could possibly be funnier than NINE Oscar Wildes trying to play baseball on one field? Five. (4) the list goes on and on…

Genius concept, guys! I SO hope whoever wrote “The Wilde Party” will turn this piece into a short story and sell it somewhere, if you haven’t already. What an amazing piece!

  5. Matt10 says:

Okay, I know the voices of Kevin Murphy and Bill Corbett because I’m a MST3K and Rifftrax fan and I know they were not in this production. Did they cancel at the last minute? Because they’re just not here and if they were in the background that was a waste of their talents.
