  1. Cheds says:

    LOVED this episode. Missed PFT, but what a great stand-in for him. Please have Bradley Whitford back, he was great on this show! Would love to hear him in a Sparks episode!

  2. Eric says:

    Screw the critisism! A very very solid episode pulled off by a strong Paget Brewster! The writing is as solid as ever, and the characters are always surprisingly competent! That may sound like a lackluster endorsement, but seriously, I’m always surprised by these people who guest star, because this is such a hard medium to master, and to pull off, and as usual, they’re all amazing! Everyone knocks me out everytime! Just remember, they make 5 of these episodes a month!!! And they’re dense! Just superb!

  3. walt says:

    Scarier than usual, but worked out in the end. Oh, that required a Spoiler Alert.

  4. Jennifer says:

    Xander: Listening to the show, it sounds like Sadie got magicked by a magic lamp to end up with a different dude, in a different job, with no Frank.

    Still love PB, even with an imitator. And Jim Beaver as a deadpan genie is priceless.

    @Old Jeff
    I couldn’t agree more. She’s stolen my heart from day one. She had me at “hyealoh”.

    @Xander
    Not for nothing, man, but you can slob on Paul F.’s knob without being a dick about the rest of the cast. Having an opinion and having manners aren’t mutually exclusive states.

  6. Old Jeff says:

    I would pay cash money to listen to Paget read the phone book as Sadie.

  7. Daniel says:

    Hey xander,

    Deleting without listening? Dismissing and belittling the work of all of PFT’s colleagues? You are welcome to your opinion, but I can guarantee it’s not the kind of feedback that would be welcomed by your hero.

  8. xander says:

    Uh, what the hell is this?!? First off, NO PAUL F. TOMPKINS!?! Who the hell is Sadie Parker?!? And moreover, who the shit is Basil Valentine and why are the two of them stealing art?!?

    The addition of PTF to Sparks Nevada is a HUGE HUGE HUGE improvement on that show, the man is a super genius and for the first time EVER I actually enjoyed SN. PFT has the widest shoulders of you crew, he can carry ANYONE!!

    The omission of him yet again on Beyond Belief AGAIN has me deleting the episode with out listening to it.

    Sorry Acker and Blacker, these BB segments without PFT just fall flat. No one is as on point, quick, witty or improv savvy as PFT and sorry to put this out there, but he carries Paget Brewster who just drowns in these weak PFT-free episodes.

    But hey, that’s just like my opinion man.

    X.

    Bradley Whitford! Shit howdy. 🙂
