This Week at NerdMelt Theater!

Still reeling from your epic Flag Day celebration? Well as soon as you recover, we have an amazing week of shows at NerdMelt Theater for you to check out!

Friday at 7:30 bring your tape measurers to Sex Nerd Sandra Live!

Sex Nerd Sandra is the awesomely frank podcast where the endlessly curious sexeducator Sandra Daugherty and her comedian co-host Dave Ross explore the fascinating world of human sexuality. With tell-all interviews, juicy topics, tips and more, Sandra and Dave keep it fun, keep it sex-positive and keep it real.

June’s topic: “Does Size Matter?” Sandra and Dave will focus on various aspects of the human body. (Gee, can you think of what they might cover?) Girth vs length, pumps & pills, size queens, condom fit and female body stuff, too, like truths about tightness and cup size. Fun stories abound! With guest Laura Kightlinger!

$8 in advance, $10 at the door!

Friday at 9:00 learn something new at The Friday Forty!

The Friday Forty is a current-affairs sketch-comedy quiz show where the performers get a little liquid courage to help them answer 40 questions about the events of the last 7 days.

$8 in advance, $10 at the door!

Saturday at 8:00 walk on down to Harmontown!

People always ask us “What is Harmontown?”, and that’s a tough question to answer, but here’s the closest thing we’ve got: we gave the creator of Community a night to do whatever he wanted, and what we got was Harmontown. Attend a town meeting in a land free of brevity, where Mayor Dan Harmon and Comptroller Jeff B. Davis (Whose Line is it Anyway) take another small, vodka-soaked step toward colonizing the moon. Evening may include ineffectual rants, songs, shameful stories, special guests (Allison Brie, Donald Glover, and Gillian Jacobs have all stopped in), forehead sweat and repeated exposure to the phrases “like” , “uh”, “sort of” and “you know.”.

SOLD OUT (LIMITED TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR FOR $10).

Sunday at 7:00 is Matt Mira’s Day Off!

Matt Mira of the Nerdist Podcast needs a Day Off, so we decided to give him Sundays at Nerdist Theater. Come watch Mira and Paul Cibis host this comedy free-for-all. You’ll see brand new comics, comics you know and love trying out new material (Chris Hardwick and Kumail Nanjiani are frequent drop ins), and the magic that is live comedy.

Free!

Monday at 8:00 take a break from the cinematheque for Comedy Film Nerds 100ish Episode and Book Signing!

Thursday at 7:30 get dorky at The Dork Forest with Jackie Kashian LIVE!

Are you fascinated by TRUE CRIME? Michelle McNamara is … and she KNOWS things.
She will remind me why Jackie locks her doors during the day. Jackie first learned these things in Episode 50 of The Dork Forest (if you want to play catch up) which remains one of The Dork Forest fans’ favorite episodes.

So strap in… she’s dipped! It’s great! And you will love it! And please check out Miss McNamara’s website: TrueCrimeDiary.net.

$10!

Thank you all so much for your continued support of the theater. Follow us on Twitter and track us on our blog for more info about any of these shows!
