It’s movie riffing DIY-style! We scour the bottom of the VHS barrel to find the worst movies you’ve never seen, and invite YOU to help us make fun of them. Come up with the best one-liners of the night, and you could win a prize! We also add improv comedy sprinkled throughout the show. It all adds up to a wild evening of horrible entertainment.

Spend your Sunday afternoons learning from the best at the Nerdist Writers Panel! Join moderator Ben Blacker as he hosts esteemed panelists discussing topics like different types of writing, how they got started, what inspires them, the business side of writing, and more. Panelists will also answer your questions and give some helpful tips and tricks! This series is a must for any hopeful writer in LA, with a portion of the proceeds going to benefit 826LA. Thursday at 8:00 catch a sneak peak of THE NARRATIVE OF VICTOR KARLOCH!
Heather Henson and Handmade Puppet Dreams Present a Sneak Peek at The Narrative of Victor Karloch, a Victorian Ghost Story Puppet Film directed by effects artist Kevin McTurk and featuring the voices of Christopher Lloyd, Elijah Wood, and Maurice LaMarche. This short film utilizes bunraku style rod puppets, shadow puppetry and traditional in-camera effects to present a tale from from the journal pages of Victor Karloch; alchemist, scholar, and ghost hunter. This film was made possible from a grant from Heather Henson’s Handmade Puppet Dreams Film Series and a Project Grant from The Jim Henson Foundation.
JUST ADDED : A Marionette Performance by Eli Presser (one of the film’s key puppeteers). Donations Encouraged!
