There’s a lot to laugh at this week at the NerdMelt Showroom at Meltdown Comics in Los Angeles. With shows like Puppet Town, Horrible Movie NightThe Tinkle Twins, and more, laughs are guaranteed. So tell your friends, make up with your enemies and make them your friends and then tell them too! Come get your laugh on!

May 10th at 2pm – Puppet Town!

Puppet Town is a sketch comedy show for kids…with puppets! Created by Alex Fox and Rachel Lewis (PBS, Nickelodeon). With guest host Nyima Funk (Whose Line is it Anyway?, Key & Peele, MTV’s Wild ‘N Out).

LA’s favorite family friendly show is back! Puppets! Music! Comedy! Fun! Combining hilarity from the top comedians in town (Groundlings, UCB, iO Second City) with puppeteers from Broadway’s Avenue Q, Puppet Town is a magical explosion of entertainment for all ages.

$10 in advance, $12 at the door, and free for kids under 12.

May 10th at 7pm – The Mo Show with Mo Welch!

Join us for a special night of celebration at this evening chat showpacked with stand up comedy, guests, and videos all hosted by Mo Welch! With special guests Mollie Merkel, Dan St. Germain, Drennon Davis, and Ever Mainard!

May 10th at 9pm – Horrible Movie Night!

Shout at the movies! We screen the worst films you’ve never seen, and invite YOU to roast them — the best one-liners of the night will win prizes. If you like MST3K and RiffTrax, this is your scene!

Your hosts for the evening, John Mathot (Disney’s Phineas & Ferb), Susan Wright (The Because Show podcast), and special guest co-host Adam Spiegelman (Proudly Resents podcast) will present 1981’s Zombie Lake!  Nazi zombies rise from their haunted lake to exact revenge on the French town that doomed them, but the townsfolk have a secret that just might save them. One of our all-time favorite films!

There’ll be great stand-up from Josh Comers (Conan writer) & John Ungaro (Stonecutters LA, Nerdist), and also FREE POPCORN!  Shamble on down to the show!

At The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail, you’ll see some of the biggest comics, up and coming acts just before they get famous, and as always, surprise drop-ins that will knock your socks off. Featuring Jen Kirkman, Brent James Sullivan, Josh Cheney, Jerrod Carmichael, Derek Sheen, and Kristen Schaal.


May 15th at 8pm – The Tinkle Twins!

Hosted by Dana Gould and Arden Myrin, The Tinkle Twins is a monthly variety show that features comedy from LA’s top comics, with the occasional magician or musician thrown in to keep things Tinkletastic!

Scott Gimple and Dave Holmes host this current-affairs sketch-comedy quiz show where the performers get a little liquid courage to help them answer 40 questions about the events of the last 7 days! With special guests Sarah Silverman and Steve Agee!

May 16th at 9pm – An Evening with Nate Craig!
