This Week at NerdMelt Showroom: Horrible Movie Night, What’s New, Seems Legit, and more!

NerdMelt Showroom

Love and laughs are in the air this week at NerdMelt Showroom at Meltdown Comics in Los Angeles! There are more Comedy Central tapings of The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail, Horrible Movie Night is back, Red Bastard is paying us a visit, Seems Legit is having a show and throwing a free after party, and more. It’s going to be a great week!

February 8th at 9pm it’s Horrible Movie Night!

Shout at the movies! We screen the worst films you’ve never seen, and invite YOU to roast them — the best one-liners of the night will win prizes. If you like MST3K and RiffTrax, this is your scene!

Your hosts for the evening, John Mathot (Disney’s Phineas & Ferb), Susan Wright (The Because Show podcast), and special guest co-host Jay Thomas (Sirius XM’s The Jay Thomas Show, Murphy Brown, Cheers) will present 1984’s C.H.U.D.!  Strange and scary things are going down under the streets of New York City —  the homeless population is being mutated into cannibalistic monsters!  A photographer and the director of a homeless shelter must dig through nuclear waste and flame throwers to defeat them.

There’ll be comedy from Ryan Singer (10 Best Comedians to watch in 2014 by LA Weekly), and also FREE POPCORN!  Avoid the subway, and come on out to the show!  Ages 16+
