Saturday at 9:00 is Set List!

From the minds of Paul Provenza and Troy Conrad… Set List is back from sold-out shows at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Montreal Just For Laughs Festival, and a regular run in London. Top comics are given a never-before-seen “set list” of strange and outrageous topics the second they walk onstage, and perform seamlessly as if its the act they normally do, while the audience follows their list on the projection screen. Complete comedy in the moment. This week features Jimmy Dore, Nate Craig, Rick Overton, Dave Ross, Rye Silverman, Mark Wahlberg (played by Dan Van Kirk), Guy Branum, Rove McManus & more!

$8 in advance, $10 at the door!

Sunday at 5:00 is The Nerdist Writer’s Panel!

The Nerdist’s Writers Panel series is an informal chat moderated by Ben Blacker (co-creator of The Thrilling Adventure Hour; writer for Supah Ninjas, Supernatural, among others) with professional writers about the process and business of writing. and Martin Gero (creator, LA Complex). As always, proceeds from the live panels benefit 826LA, the national non-profit tutoring program.

Sunday at 7:00 is The Nerdist Open Mic!

Matt Mira of the Nerdist Podcast needs a Day Off, so we decided to give him Sundays at Nerdist Theater. Come watch Mira and Paul Cibis host this comedy free-for-all. You’ll see brand new comics, comics you know and love trying out new material (Chris Hardwick and Kumail Nanjiani are frequent drop ins), and the magic that is live comedy.

Monday at 8:00 is Harmontown!

Yup, that’s right, it’s weekly, and it’s a podcast too! Attend a town meeting in a land free of brevity, where Mayor Dan Harmon (creator of Community) and Comptroller Jeff B. Davis (Whose Line is it Anyway) take another small, vodka-soaked step toward colonizing the moon. Evening may include ineffectual rants, songs, shameful stories, special guests (Allison Brie, Donald Glover, and Gillian Jacobs have all stopped in), forehead sweat and repeated exposure to the phrases “like” , “uh”, “sort of” and “you know.” (Subscribe to Harmontown on ITunes today!)

$10!

Tuesday at 8:00 is the Taylor Williamson Album Release Party!

Taylor Williamson (Last Comic Standing, Comedy Central, Craig Ferguson) is releasing his first ever comedy album and to celebrate he’s doing a big time comedy show with some of his favorite big time comedians and big time audience members! Become a big time audience member! Featuring Brody Stevens, Fortune Feimster, Paul Scheer and Steve Rannazzisi!

$5 in advance, $10 at the door!

Wednesday at 8:30 is The Meltdown With Jonah and Kumail!

This week, Jonah Ray and Kumail Nanjiani welcome Jon Daly, David Huntsberger, Shawn Pearlman, Aaron Burell, Sean Conroy, Dominic Dierkes, and a comic so big we have to keep her a secret….

$8!

Thursday at 7:00 is The Fogelnest Files!

Jake Fogelnest has scoured the Internet and his personal archives for cool stuff to show you . Remember when you would flick through television late at night, stumble across some weird stuff and it was like, “Whoa WTF is this?” Fogelnest taped that.

Join Jake for a live taping of his Earwolf podcast, “The Fogelnest Files.” He’ll be joined by a panel of special guests who will watch this cool stuff with Jake and then have a humorous discussion about the clips. With special guests Bryan Lee O’Malley (Creator of Scott Pilgrim), Jonah Ray and James Urbaniak.

$8 in advance, $10 at the door!

Thursday at 9:00 is RISK! Storytelling Show!

RISK! is the show where people tell true stories they never thought they’d dare to share in public. Stories they’d normally only tell to close friends. At the RISK! Live shows, the brightest stars of TV, film and literature drop their usual act and show a side of themselves you’ve never seen before. In October, the topic of “Eek!” will be touched upon by these great storytellers: Cindy Chupack (writer, Modern Family)
 Dominic Dierkes (writer, Workaholics)
Dava Krause (writer/performer, Inappropriate Fairy Tales)
Matteson Perry (host, The Moth)
Danny Lobell (host, Real Talk With Danny Lobell)! And as always, RISK! is hosted by Kumail Nanjiani and Pete Holmes!
