The holidays are coming soon (can you feel the dread?) but that doesn’t mean we don’t have some great shows for you from now until you get a few days off work/you celebrate the holidays/you have to go home to your family/you eat too much.
For example, tonight at 8pm is one of our weirdest shows yet- Memories from the Happy House!
If PeeWee’s Playhouse hosted a comedy show on acid directed by David Lynch starring NYC/LA comedy druglords, then it would probably be called “Memories from the Happy House,” and guess what? It is called that. Join this NYC-based show as it ventures to LA for the first time.
Starring Jon Dore, Kate Berlant, Jared Logan, Scott Moran, Rory Scovel, and some surprise noises too!!!
For exactly one hour you will step into a time machine that doesn’t exist and be transported to a warehouse in the middle of your brain where escaped mental patients are putting on a live animated non-animated brain-show called “Memories from the Happy House.”
$8 in advance, $10 at the door.
Then on Saturday at 8pm, it’s the Regalia book signing and art show!
Love, murder, fathers, daughters and foxes- Regalia is a collection of short stories, and artist Eliza Fryeâs best personal work to date. Some of the stories have been previously published, some are brand new, and one was nominated for an Eisner Award. They are all love letters.
