When you’re a Khaleesi, Mother of Dragons, or hold one of Daenerys Targaryen’s many other titles, you shouldn’t have to suffer fools. She’s eaten an entire horse heart, she owns dragons, she has an army–yet she has to entertain all kinds of idiots over and over again. But it’s all right because Daenerys doesn’t tolerate anyone’s bullshit. In case you’ve forgotten Dany and actress Emilia Clarke’s many wonderfully annoyed expressions from past seasons of Game of Thrones, YouTuber G. Scott McG has cut the best of them together. That’s good. What’s better is that the shots are set to Shania Twain’s “That Don’t Impress Me Much”. I didn’t know how much I needed this video in my life.
Besides being all kinds of amusing (I really want to learn to roll my eyes just like Daenerys), it’s fun to look back on Dany’s past. I don’t know about you, but I haven’t seen Season 1 of Game of Thrones in a long time. Daenerys has come a long way from the quiet, timid girl Viserys married off to Khal Drogo. She had attitude back then–remember when she started standing up to Viserys?!–but now? I wouldn’t risk upsetting her. And that would be true even if she didn’t own unruly dragons.
