This CHRISTMAS VACATION Toy is Chevy Chase, and You’re Not

The term “chase figure” used to refer to rare variants randomly packed into shipments, but this year a Chase figure of a whole different kind is coming to town. If Lorne Michaels is on your shopping list, here’s the perfect gift for him—a fully pose-able Chevy Chase that will do whatever you want!

We keed, we keed. But we’ve also always had a secret desire to see Freddy vs. Jason vs. Fletch, and now that can happen in the toy box. NECA has known for a while now that there’s money to be made in Christmas movie action figures come December, and used to simply rerelease their A Christmas Story line every year. And then last Christmas, they decided to do Home Alone, finally giving the world a Joe Pesci toy from a role that, yes, was a clown to us. If they keep this up, who knows? Could we get a Bad Santa one of these days?

First things first. This Yuletide, we’re getting Clark Griswold from National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation:

Movie-specific accessories include a replica model pool and a Marty Moose mug from Walley World–sorry, Cousin Eddie fans, shitter not included. Nor is Cousin Eddie, unfortunately, Randy Quaid being difficult to reach and all. But take off the Santa coat and you can make it be Chevy Chase from pretty much any movie he’s ever made. A Funny Farm toy? No longer a ridiculous notion. President Ford, SNL style? Just keep knocking it over and you’re there.

Do you need a tiny Chevy Chase in your home? What iteration would you prefer? Shoot us some suggestions below.
